PROPÒSIT I METODOLOGIA 

I teach Hatha yoga and in my classes I encourage a mindful approach to the yoga postures (asanas) by using a mixture of challenging and restorative poses to help students tune in with their bodies and breath.

 

The class I will be teaching at viuYOGA is a traditional Hatha sequence, starting with a pranayama exercise (breath work), surya namaskar (sun salutations) and then moving through a variety of standing and balancing asanas, forward and backbends, hip openers and twists, ending with a final relaxation. I give time in each asana for students to explore the pose, assisting with modifications if needed. 

 

The class is suitable for all levels of yoga experience and would also be perfect for students looking for a practical way to improve their English!
